Job Overview

NMDC Abu Dhabi’s Infrastructure Business Unit is actively seeking skilled civil engineering experts for key roles in major Bridges and Tunnels projects across the United Arab Emirates. These positions require extensive experience in infrastructure project delivery, particularly related to bridges and tunnels.

Available Positions and Responsibilities

We are currently hiring for four critical roles with outlined qualifications and expertise:

• Project Manager – Bridges & Tunnels: Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with over 20 years of experience leading large-scale bridge and tunnel projects. Responsibilities include overseeing project delivery with emphasis on time management, cost control, quality assurance, safety compliance, contract adherence, and comprehensive resource planning. Strong capabilities in project leadership, construction planning, project controls, commercial management, quality, HSE, risk, and stakeholder management are essential.
• Construction Manager – Bridges & Tunnels: This role calls for a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 15 years managing construction of bridge and tunnel infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in coordinating multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and construction resources, alongside a robust understanding of work sequencing, productivity, quality standards, health and safety, progress tracking, and risk management.
• Civil Engineer – Bridges & Tunnels: Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 10 years of hands-on experience in bridge and tunnel construction. Key areas include foundations, piling, piers, abutments, bridge decks, tunnels, concrete works, excavation, waterproofing, and temporary works. Proven experience in site supervision, technical coordination, quality inspections, progress monitoring, and maintaining construction documentation is required.
• Technical Office Engineer – Bridges & Tunnels: This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and 10+ years of experience in bridge and tunnel projects. Responsibilities cover preparation and review of shop drawings, technical submissions, method statements, RFIs/TQs, quantity take-offs, and as-built documentation. Strong technical coordination and drawing review skills are essential.
