AUSCO is a leading engineering firm dedicated to providing exceptional structural and civil engineering services across Saudi Arabia. As part of our expansion, we are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer with strong technical expertise and leadership abilities to join our growing team in Dammam.

This role is designed for engineers who hold an MSc in Structural Engineering and are eager to take on greater responsibility, work on complex projects, and advance their careers within the dynamic construction sector of Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Structural Engineer will lead and manage structural engineering tasks from initial analysis and design through to detailed technical documentation and cross-disciplinary coordination. Responsibilities include:

• Leading structural analysis and design for building projects and related structures.
• Producing detailed calculations, design reports, technical specifications, drawings, and other documentation.
• Reviewing structural designs and engineering outputs to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with relevant codes.
• Applying international and Saudi Arabian codes, standards, and project requirements effectively.
• Developing cost-efficient and constructible structural solutions while prioritizing safety and durability.
• Coordinating design efforts with architecture, civil, MEP, geotechnical, and other engineering teams.
• Identifying and resolving technical challenges and structural design issues throughout project phases.
• Reviewing contractors’ submissions, shop drawings, and material proposals as needed.
• Providing mentoring and technical support to junior and intermediate engineers.
• Participating in design reviews, coordination meetings, and project discussions.
• Supporting construction teams by addressing technical queries and site-related structural matters.
• Ensuring all engineering deliverables adhere to quality standards, codes, and project timelines.
• Contributing to the enhancement of engineering procedures and technical quality within AUSCO.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; MSc in Structural Engineering is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in structural engineering, including design, analysis, and construction support.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and structural steel design principles.
• Familiarity with international and Saudi structural design codes is a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software tools.
• Ability to independently produce and critically review structural calculations and documentation.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Experience working in Saudi Arabia or knowledge of local construction practices is desirable.
