Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Supervisor to join our engineering team for a project based in Mesaieed, Qatar. This is a contract position lasting three months with potential extension. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, specifically with control systems, PLCs, and SCADA technologies, coupled with a proven ability to lead and communicate effectively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

The I&C Supervisor will oversee instrumentation and control operations, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Responsibilities include managing installation, testing, and commissioning of I&C systems, coordinating with project teams, and maintaining adherence to QatarEnergy’s regulations and procedures. The role demands supervision of day-to-day activities to support efficient project execution while addressing any technical challenges that arise.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Control Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 7 years of experience working in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on project execution and control systems.
• Proficiency in control systems design, including PLC programming and SCADA system management.
• Valid QatarEnergy approval and possession of a current QatarEnergy electronic Permit to Work (ePTW).
• Strong leadership abilities paired with excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate teams and interact with stakeholders.
• Experience working on Qatar-based oil and gas projects is highly preferred.
• Must hold a valid Qatar ID and be currently residing within Qatar for immediate deployment.
