Job Overview

AVS is seeking a skilled and motivated Pre Sales Engineer to join its expanding team in the United Arab Emirates. This full-time role is ideal for professionals with at least two years of experience in designing and proposing solutions for Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing client enquiries, tender documents, drawings, and project scopes. They will prepare detailed technical proposals, system designs, bills of quantities (BOQs), quotations, and compliance statements tailored to ELV projects.

Design duties include developing solutions for CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, Gate Barriers, Structured Cabling, and other related systems. The engineer must ensure all proposals meet project specifications, consultant requirements, local authority regulations, and industry standards.

Coordination with suppliers and manufacturers is essential for selecting products, verifying technical compliance, negotiating pricing, and securing supporting documentation. Working collaboratively with the Sales Team, they will create proposals that are both technically sound and commercially competitive.

Identifying technical deviations, exclusions, and opportunities for value engineering during the tender process is a significant part of this role. Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring prompt submission of quotations and proposals are critical to success.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Pre Sales Engineering, specifically with ELV systems
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, Gate Barriers, and Structured Cabling
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, tender documents, and specifications
• Experience preparing detailed technical proposals and BOQs
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams
• Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements
