Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a skilled and certified Lead Rigger / Foreman to join a reputable project team in Qatar. This role demands a highly experienced individual who can oversee rigging operations, manage lifting activities, and supervise site tasks efficiently to ensure safe and effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities

As the Lead Rigger / Foreman, you will be expected to:

• Supervise and coordinate all rigging and lifting operations on-site ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Lead and manage a team of riggers and laborers to maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure that all lifting equipment is inspected and utilized properly.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and site supervisors to streamline workflow and resolve any operational challenges.
• Ensure strict adherence to company policies and Qatar’s health and safety requirements.

Required Skills and Experience

• TUV certification that is approved by Qatar Petroleum (QP) is mandatory.
• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in a lead rigging or foreman role within heavy industry or construction sectors.
• At least 5 years of professional experience working in the GCC region, preferably in Qatar.
• Strong understanding of rigging techniques, lifting gear, and mechanical equipment.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to supervise teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work reliably under pressure and manage time effectively during an 8-hour workday.

Work Schedule and Availability

The role requires a commitment to an eight-hour workday. Candidates with immediate availability will be given preference, ensuring swift integration into ongoing projects.
