Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Control Engineer to join a major pipeline project under Aramco MGSIII. This role requires a highly skilled professional with a proven background in overseeing planning, cost control, billing, and project monitoring activities, specifically within the oil and gas cross-country pipeline sector. Immediate hiring is available for candidates with relevant experience and Aramco approval.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and prioritizing project execution sequences to meet deadlines, preparing status reports such as DPR, WPR, and MPR, and managing data input for MIS and SAP systems. You will coordinate billing processes, including preparation and submission of client RA bills, and follow up on approvals and payments in close coordination with PMC and clients.

Additional duties include cost bookings for materials, subcontractors, and administrative expenses, managing certification and reconciliation of subcontractor RA bills, as well as handling surplus material returns. You will initiate purchase requisitions and work closely with procurement for timely supply of materials, ensuring smooth construction workflow.

Participating in PMC/client monthly review meetings by preparing presentations and minutes of meetings, alongside tracking manpower and equipment deployment reports, will also fall under your responsibilities. Developing and monitoring site-level budgets, managing contractual correspondence, and handling claims for extra works or extensions of time represent critical elements of this role.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the oil and gas pipeline industry, especially cross-country pipeline projects.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and customer-focused skills are essential.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of technical and contractual procedures related to pipeline construction projects.
  • Proficiency with Primavera, MS Project, SAP, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and analyze business and technical requirements effectively.
  • Experience in commercial and contractual correspondence on site level, including payment closure and contract compliance.

Education and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.Tech or BE). Preference will be given to candidates with Aramco approval and transferable Iqama. Overseas candidates with immediate availability and relevant experience will also be considered.

This position is based in Khobar, Saudi Arabia, working on a high-profile pipeline project that demands collaboration with various stakeholders including clients, PMC, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
