Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Estimation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction, preferably with general contracting companies, and at least five years of experience working within Saudi Arabia. This leadership role requires a hands-on professional who can oversee detailed project cost estimations and ensure competitive bidding processes.

Key Responsibilities

As the Lead Estimation Engineer, your main duties will include preparing comprehensive cost estimates for engineering projects, covering all aspects such as labor, materials, and overhead costs. You will play a critical role in the tendering and bidding process by developing competitive proposals that meet project specifications. Analyzing blueprints and specifications to accurately determine quantities and costs is essential.

You will also be responsible for monitoring project budgets, suggesting cost-saving measures, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors to obtain quotations, and negotiating prices. Maintaining precise cost tracking and delivering detailed financial reports to management are integral parts of the role. Furthermore, ensuring all estimates comply with industry standards and contractual regulations is crucial.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum five years of professional experience in Saudi Arabia.
• Proven background in a construction company, with a preference for those experienced in general contracting.
• Recent or current role as a Lead Estimation Engineer.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles related to construction projects.
• Expertise in quantity takeoff, budget analysis, and cost control.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills for vendor and subcontractor interactions.
• Ability to deliver detailed cost reports aligned with industry standards.
