Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Windows Systems Specialist with over six years of experience to join a leading educational institution in Jeddah. The successful candidate will manage and maintain the university’s Windows-based infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation of critical services like DNS, Active Directory, DHCP, and Exchange.

Key Responsibilities

This role involves operating and supervising Windows servers that host essential applications and data. The specialist will be responsible for upholding server security and integrity, adhering to IT security policies and standards. Regular system monitoring to respond promptly to alerts and outages is crucial. Additionally, the role includes supporting cost-optimization initiatives through consolidation and virtualization efforts.

Collaborating with IT teams, the specialist will play an integral role in various projects, contributing technical expertise and delivering impactful results. Evaluating new server technologies, operating systems, and tools is part of the responsibilities, along with making recommendations to IT leadership. The candidate will also develop scripts, reporting tools, and metrics to monitor key performance indicators related to system performance and health.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience managing Windows server environments.
• Proficiency in DNS, Active Directory, DHCP, and Exchange server management.
• Strong understanding of IT security protocols and best practices.
• Experience with virtualization and server consolidation projects.
• Capability to develop scripts and monitoring tools for performance reporting.
• Ability to evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance system performance.
• Preferred Saudi nationals encouraged to apply.
