Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Civil AutoCAD Draftsperson to join a reputable construction company in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience preparing, reviewing, and modifying detailed 2D shop, layout, and as-built drawings, ensuring all produce accurate and compliant documentation for successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and refining shop drawings using IFC drawings, project specifications, and onsite requirements. Coordination with engineers, architects, and site teams is essential to maintain drawing accuracy and constructability. They will also need to revise drawings following consultant or client feedback and adapt to site conditions while ensuring strict compliance with approved plans, specifications, and Saudi standards. Maintaining up-to-date drawing registers, controlling revisions, and supporting project schedules by providing precise and timely drawings are also crucial parts of this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of proven experience as an AutoCAD Draftsperson, preferably within the construction sector.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and technical details related to civil projects.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail coupled with effective time management skills.
• Registration with the Saudi Engineering Council is required.
• Preference will be given to female Indian nationals.
