Job Overview

Leelaak in Mesaieed, Qatar, is seeking a skilled Control HVAC Technician for a permanent position. This role involves working with various HVAC systems including Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), chillers, VRF/VRV, split air conditioners, and ventilation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in troubleshooting, maintaining, and calibrating HVAC control systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities

The technician will be responsible for diagnosing faults in HVAC equipment and performing corrective maintenance. This includes testing and calibrating control systems, working with wiring, electrical circuits, and automation components. The role demands adherence to safety standards such as Permit to Work (PTW), Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations, and plant safety protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must hold an ITI or Diploma in HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical, or Instrumentation fields. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in HVAC controls and maintenance is required, preferably with exposure to Oil & Gas or industrial plant environments. Strong familiarity with control panels, sensors, thermostats, actuators, and Building Management Systems (BMS) is essential. Previous work experience within Qatar or the broader GCC region will be an advantage.
