Job Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant cum Cashier to join our team in Sharjah. This full-time, permanent position welcomes applications from both males and females, including fresh graduates as well as experienced candidates. The role involves managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth handling of cash and banking operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle payment of bills and accurately record all receipts and transactions.
• Perform daily reconciliation of cash and receipt boxes to ensure accuracy.
• Deposit cash and cheques regularly to the bank while maintaining good rapport with banking staff.
• Manage staff claims and process payments appropriately.
• Administer cash advances and post daily receipts, including cash, debit memos, advances, and bank transfers.
• Conduct routine checks and reconciliations of cash on hand and unbanked receipts to maintain financial integrity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to maintain accurate financial records and organize transactions.
• Good communication skills to liaise with bank personnel and staff members.
• Attention to detail with strong numerical aptitude.
• Freshers with relevant educational background are encouraged to apply alongside experienced professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from AED 5,500 to AED 6,500 monthly, commensurate with experience. The employer offers a UAE visa along with all benefits as per UAE labor laws. Additional perks include a fixed salary and transportation allowances to support your daily commute.
