Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Riyadh and Dammam. This role involves ensuring the quality and safety of fresh produce, meat, deli, and grocery products in compliance with company standards and relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for inspecting incoming deliveries to verify product quality before acceptance. Key duties include:

• Conduct thorough inspections of fresh produce, meat, deli, and grocery items according to established specifications.
• Measure vehicle and product temperatures prior to unloading and dispatch.
• Approve or reject products based on quality assessments and regulatory compliance.
• Document non-conformities with photographic evidence and detailed reports.
• Maintain accurate receiving logs, checklists, and inspection reports.
• Ensure products are stored under appropriate conditions based on category requirements.
• Test Brix levels and firmness for applicable fruits to guarantee freshness.
• Monitor pest control measures within the distribution center.
• Adhere to company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and follow SASO and SFDA regulations.

Required Skills and Experience

Ideal candidates should possess:

• A diploma in a relevant field is required; higher education is an advantage.
• Proven experience in quality control or inspection, preferably within fresh produce, meat, or food and grocery sectors.
• Effective communication skills in English, with Arabic language skills considered a plus.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills.
• Capability to work independently while managing inspection tasks responsibly.
• Proficiency with computers, email, reporting software, and inspection tools.
• Ability to provide technical rationale for product rejections when necessary.
