Makaronia, a renowned Italian dining establishment, is seeking a skilled Female Commis Chef to join their dynamic kitchen team. This role is ideal for candidates experienced in Italian cooking, especially those proficient in pasta and pizza preparation. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of Italian dishes, with a focus on pasta and pizza
• Assist with mise en place, ensuring ingredients and kitchen stations are organized and ready for service
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen
• Support daily kitchen operations within an Italian restaurant or catering environment
• Collaborate with the culinary team to deliver consistent quality and timely food service

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Commis Chef, preferably with Italian cuisine
• Strong skills in pasta dough preparation, shaping, and cooking
• Hands-on experience in preparing pizzas and working with traditional Italian ingredients
• Familiarity with catering operations is considered an advantage
• Understanding of kitchen hygiene practices and operational procedures

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience working in an Italian kitchen or restaurant setting will be highly regarded. Candidates with catering background who can adapt to a fast-paced kitchen environment will have an added advantage.
