Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Junior PLC Engineer to join our team in Qatar. This role involves supporting the programming, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial automation systems, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA platforms. The position offers an excellent opportunity for candidates with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience to develop their skills within a dynamic engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in programming and configuring PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for industrial automation applications.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of automation control systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLC, VFDs, control panels, and communication protocols.
• Perform routine maintenance and support to ensure system reliability and uptime.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics to support project requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with engineering and technical teams to meet project goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience working with PLC-based industrial automation systems.
• Basic knowledge of PLC programming, HMI, SCADA, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), and control panels.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profinet, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with effective communication abilities.
• Valid Qatar driving license is required.
• Candidates must hold a transferable visa along with a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
