Job Overview

A reputable MEP contractor in Qatar is seeking skilled MEP Estimators specializing in electrical and mechanical engineering projects. This role involves delivering precise cost estimates for commercial and industrial building services, including high-rise towers, substations, and infrastructure developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for MEP projects using advanced estimation software.
• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine material requirements and labor costs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that estimates reflect current systems, materials, and installation techniques.
• Prepare quotation documentation and cost control reports to support project bidding processes.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience in electrical and mechanical building services estimation, preferably 10 years or more.
• Proficiency with Candy Estimation Software (CCS), PlanSwift, AutoCAD, and MS Office including Project management tools.
• Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and installation standards relevant to commercial and industrial projects.
• Ability to interpret drawings and technical documents accurately to produce reliable cost assessments.

Qualifications

• BSc or BTEC degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• UPDA certification is essential.
