Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled MEP Construction Engineer to join our dynamic construction team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will oversee the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works on various construction projects, ensuring compliance with approved designs, quality standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves supervising and coordinating all MEP construction activities on-site, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection installations. You will be responsible for reviewing MEP drawings, shop drawings, and material submissions. Managing collaboration between MEP teams and civil, structural, architectural, and finishing divisions is essential. Supervising subcontractors, technicians, and site workers while monitoring manpower, materials, and installation quality will be part of your daily duties.

In addition, you will conduct site inspections to resolve technical and coordination challenges, oversee testing and commissioning processes, manage snagging and final handover of MEP systems, and prepare regular progress reports. Ensuring adherence to project specifications, health and safety standards, and Bahrain’s regulatory requirements is critical to this position.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in MEP construction within building projects, preferably involving high-rise, commercial, or large villa developments.
• Strong ability to interpret MEP and shop drawings along with technical specifications.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising subcontractors and on-site teams.
• Effective communication, coordination, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with Bahrain or GCC construction standards is highly desirable.
• Currently residing in Bahrain and available to join immediately.
