Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Junior PLC Engineer to join our team in Qatar on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to two years of experience in industrial automation. The successful candidate will assist in developing, modifying, and supporting PLC programs and related control system applications.

Key Responsibilities

As a Junior PLC Engineer, you will support the implementation and maintenance of automation systems. This includes assisting with PLC programming, configuring HMI and SCADA applications, and participating in equipment installation and commissioning. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and testing devices such as PLCs, sensors, VFDs, motors, and electrical control panels under supervision. Maintaining technical documentation and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical challenges will be part of your daily tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
• Up to 2 years of hands-on experience or internship in industrial automation or PLC programming.
• Basic knowledge of popular PLC platforms such as Siemens or Allen-Bradley.
• Familiarity with HMI and SCADA systems.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to effectively collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation teams.
• Commitment to following safety protocols and industry standards during all activities.
