Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical QA/QC Engineer with a strong background in welding inspection and quality control to join a long-term project based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role requires expertise in handling high-grade materials and ensuring compliance with industry standards within the water treatment and desalination plant sectors.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing welding activities and conducting thorough inspections to maintain quality standards. Duties include performing non-destructive testing (NDT), adhering to ASME codes, and ensuring all welding processes meet the specified criteria for materials such as Super Duplex, SS316L, and stainless steel pipes.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in mechanical QA/QC roles.
• Solid knowledge of welding inspections involving Super Duplex, SS316L, and stainless steel pipework.
• Proven expertise in working with desalination plants or water treatment facilities.
• Familiarity with relevant standards such as ASME, CSWIP, ASNT, and proficiency in non-destructive testing methods.
• Ability to collaborate effectively on-site and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to relocate to Dammam for the duration of the project.
• Availability for immediate joining.

Work Environment

This position involves working on a long-term project within an industrial setting focused on advanced water treatment systems. The role includes quality assurance tasks during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and ensures that all mechanical components meet strict quality benchmarks.
