Al Dhafra International Projects Group Company, a leading name in the construction sector in Abu Dhabi, is seeking an experienced HR Manager with 12 to 15+ years of comprehensive expertise. This role requires hands-on management of human resources functions across head office, project sites, and construction operations, ensuring full compliance with UAE labor laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

The HR Manager will take charge of developing and refining HR policies, overseeing manpower planning, and heading recruitment efforts for a diverse range of construction roles including civil engineers, project managers, site engineers, and skilled labor. Managing the entire employee lifecycle — from hiring and onboarding to appraisals, promotions, disciplinary actions, and exits — is a critical part of this position.

Ensuring adherence to all UAE labor regulations, including work permits, visas, WPS, and other statutory obligations, is essential. The role also involves handling payroll processing, attendance management, leave and overtime tracking, and final settlements while supporting employee engagement, training, performance management, and workforce productivity.

The HR Manager will collaborate closely with PRO/Admin departments on immigration and government compliance matters, maintain accurate records across all HR functions, and prepare detailed manpower and HR reports for senior leadership. They will also guide organizational restructuring, succession planning, and talent management as a strategic advisor to executive management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12-15 years in HR management, preferably within construction or related sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of UAE labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong experience managing recruitment, employee lifecycle, payroll, and employee relations.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR policies and performance management systems.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
  • Familiarity with immigration procedures, work permits, and government compliance in the UAE.
