Job Overview

We are currently looking for a skilled and detail-focused female Accountant to join our finance team in Abu Dhabi. This position involves overseeing daily accounting functions, preparing accurate financial reports, ensuring VAT and tax compliance, and aiding in comprehensive financial planning. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Finance and play a critical role in maintaining effective internal controls and supporting audit processes.

Key Responsibilities

The role will include managing financial statement preparation, conducting feasibility studies, performing financial modeling, monitoring inventory valuation, and implementing cost control measures. The accountant will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with UAE VAT and corporate tax laws, maintaining accurate financial records, and collaborating across departments to optimize financial performance.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Three to five years of relevant accounting experience within the UAE or GCC region.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
• Proficiency in using Tally or other ERP accounting software.
• Demonstrated expertise in inventory management and cost control techniques.
• Advanced Excel skills paired with excellent analytical abilities.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to work proactively.
• Preference given to female candidates, ideally of Filipino nationality.
