Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Site Engineer to oversee ELV (Extra Low Voltage) system installations in Dammam. The ideal candidate will ensure work aligns with project drawings and manufacturer guidelines while managing the technical team on site. This role requires hands-on supervision of installation processes, quality assurance, and coordination with various stakeholders within the project.

Key Responsibilities

The Site Engineer will be responsible for planning and managing manpower on site, creating daily and weekly work rosters, and providing technical coaching and support to technicians. Regular quality checks must be conducted, including raising and closing non-conformance reports (NCRs) and resolving punch list items. The position also involves leading testing and commissioning activities, documenting cable certification, and performing functional system tests.

Additionally, this role requires preparing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation such as daily reports, material inspection records, test results, and handover packs. Maintaining clear communication and coordination with clients, consultants, and other site trades is essential. Adherence to site safety protocols, conducting toolbox talks, and following HSE procedures are mandatory.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience working on ELV projects, with more experience preferred for senior positions.
• Technical expertise in structured cabling, CAT6 termination and testing, CCTV and access control systems, basic networking, and interpreting technical drawings.
• Familiarity with cable testing equipment, including multimeters, crimping tools, OTDR, and Fluke testing devices.
• Strong leadership capability, excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving, and efficient time management.
• Ability to write detailed reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Proficiency in English is required; Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Work Environment

This position is based on site in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, requiring active supervision and coordination across multiple project facets. The engineer will interact closely with clients, consultants, and contractor teams to ensure smooth project delivery and compliance with quality and safety standards.
