Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and personable Barista to join our team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional coffee and beverage service in a fine dining environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

The Barista will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks including preparing and serving coffee, tea, and specialty drinks according to established recipes. Operating espresso machines and grinders efficiently is essential. You will greet guests warmly, guide them through the menu, provide recommendations, and handle orders with attentiveness and accuracy. Maintaining organization behind the scenes by managing inventory, arranging supplies by FIFO standards, and keeping the café clean and welcoming is also vital. The role involves cash handling, POS operations, and occasional delivery of orders within the compound. Collaboration with kitchen and service staff ensures smooth operations throughout the day. The Barista will also support opening and closing duties and address any customer inquiries or concerns with professionalism.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, complemented by at least three years of barista experience in an upscale or fine dining setting. Food safety training is a plus but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills and the ability to multitask effectively under pressure are essential. Candidates should be adept at resolving issues quickly and maintaining a pleasant atmosphere for all guests. Good command of spoken and written English is necessary, along with a polished personal appearance and grooming standards. A valid and transferable iqama is required.
