Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical, Plumbing, and HVAC Drafter to join a dynamic engineering team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in creating detailed MEP drawings, with a strong focus on plumbing and firefighting systems for various projects including accommodations, villas, offices, kitchens, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing comprehensive plumbing and firefighting drawings, shop drawings, and installation plans. Coordination with architectural and structural teams to identify and resolve design conflicts is essential. Maintaining compliance with local standards and specifications, updating drawings to reflect design changes or site requirements, and preparing accurate material lists and quantity takeoffs will be critical parts of this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma in Drafting or Associate Engineering qualification.
• Minimum of five years’ relevant drafting experience, preferably within Saudi Arabia or the GCC region.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must; experience with Revit MEP and SketchUp Pro is highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing design principles, firefighting systems, HVAC/MEP drawing standards, and installation requirements.
• Ability to independently read, interpret, and modify engineering drawings.
• Competency in using Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Effective collaboration skills with architecture, structural, and MEP teams.
• Candidates between 25 and 35 years old are preferred.
