Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer with extensive experience in the engineering field to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering and demonstrate at least five years of relevant industry experience. This role requires advanced certifications and expertise in quality standards related to pressure vessel manufacturing and inspection.

Key Responsibilities

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with industry quality standards across projects, particularly those related to Saudi Aramco. Duties include conducting third-party inspection activities, qualifying Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) for various material grades such as duplex, super duplex, Monel, and cladded materials in accordance with ASME SEC IX and AWS D1.1 standards.

Additionally, familiarity with ASME codes and standards for pressure vessel manufacturing and repair under ASME “U” and “R” stamp requirements is crucial. The engineer will work closely to maintain adherence to Saudi Aramco’s Saudi Aramco Materials System Specifications (SAMSS), Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), and Inspection Test Plans (ITP).

Required Skills and Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of quality engineering experience.
• ASNT Level II certification in MT, PT, UT, and RT methods is mandatory.
• CSWIP 3.1 certification with proven expertise in PQR qualification.
• Strong knowledge of ASME standards with experience in pressure vessel manufacturing and repair.
• Hands-on experience with Saudi Aramco projects and their relevant inspection requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• API 510 certification considered a plus.
• BGAS certification is an advantage.
