We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimation Engineer to join our reputable contracting company based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on preparing accurate proposals and cost estimations for construction projects, particularly within the MEP and civil engineering sectors. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing tenders and supplier negotiations, ensuring competitive and comprehensive bids.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Preparing and submitting detailed project proposals.
• Conducting BOQ pricing and cost estimations aligned with project requirements.
• Performing precise quantity take-offs based on technical drawings.
• Coordinating and managing the quotation process efficiently.
• Maintaining a proposal tracker and ensuring timely follow-ups on submissions.
• Liaising with suppliers to negotiate prices and gather submittals.
• Ensuring compliance with consultant comments and preparing accurate technical responses.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in construction, MEP, or civil engineering projects.
• Strong expertise in BOQ pricing and quantity take-off methods.
• Familiarity with supplier networks and current market pricing trends.
• Ability to juggle multiple tender proposals simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills to coordinate smoothly with various stakeholders.
