Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, assisting in payment management, and ensuring compliance with VAT documentation requirements. The role also includes routine reconciliation of accounts and supporting monthly financial reporting. Working knowledge of Odoo accounting software will be highly beneficial in streamlining these tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounting within the UAE market
• Strong understanding of VAT procedures and documentation
• Background in the transport or logistics sector is preferred
• Familiarity with Odoo accounting software is an advantage

• Ability to independently manage daily accounts and financial transactions

Compensation and Benefits
