Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Scaffolding Inspector to join our team in Ras Bu Fontas, Qatar for a contract lasting between 3 to 6 months. This role requires thorough inspections of scaffolding structures to ensure safety and compliance with all relevant standards and site procedures.

Key Responsibilities

The Scaffolding Inspector will be responsible for inspecting scaffolding setups before they are used and after any alterations. Key duties include verifying scaffold stability, proper access, platforms, guardrails, and components are all in safe working order. Conducting regular inspections and maintaining accurate inspection records and tags are essential. The inspector must identify any defects, hazards, or unsafe conditions and recommend necessary corrective actions. Collaboration with scaffolding supervisors and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) teams is crucial to uphold safety standards. The role also involves halting unsafe scaffolding operations until issues are resolved and ensuring clean, safe working conditions around scaffolding sites.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in scaffolding inspection
• Comprehensive knowledge of scaffolding safety standards and inspection protocols
• Familiarity with oil and gas or industrial project environments is highly preferred
• Relevant certifications in scaffolding inspection or safety will be an advantage
• Immediate availability is a plus
