Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled QA/QC Engineer with 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance and control within MEP contracting. This role specifically requires experience on large-scale construction projects in the UAE, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality standards across mechanical or electrical systems by conducting inspections, audits, and reviews. This includes preparing and managing quality documentation while ensuring compliance with relevant codes such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA for mechanical systems, or IEC, NEC, DEWA regulations for electrical systems. You will also implement and support the ISO 9001 quality management system within project workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 3 to 6 years of QA/QC experience in MEP contracting, preferably within the UAE market.
• In-depth knowledge of quality standards, codes, and regulations applicable to mechanical or electrical projects.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Certification such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), CSWIP, or other relevant quality-related credentials is an advantage.
• Strong command of MS Office and quality documentation tools.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills.
• Capability to work independently and handle multiple inspections and audits concurrently.
