Job Overview

Sigma Byte, a leading name in connectivity solutions, is currently seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician to join their team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ hands-on experience with AV systems installation and maintenance, specializing in Audio Visual (AV) and Background Music (BGM) systems. This is an excellent opportunity to work with advanced AV technologies in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining a range of AV and BGM equipment, including displays, projectors, speakers, amplifiers, and microphones. Key duties include performing AV cabling, termination, testing, and commissioning tasks. Additionally, diagnosing faults and executing repairs promptly will be essential. The technician will also need to interpret technical drawings and adhere strictly to project specifications, ensuring compliance with site safety and quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI certification in Electronics, Electrical, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in AV systems installation and maintenance.
• Strong technical knowledge of audio and video systems, BGM and PA systems, displays, projectors, and video conferencing technology.
• Proficiency in AV cabling and termination techniques, coupled with the ability to use AV testing tools effectively.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and project documentation.
• Commitment to following safety protocols and quality assurance standards on site.
