Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Projects Engineer with a solid background in fire protection systems to join our dynamic team in Sharjah, UAE. This role requires over five years of hands-on experience in project management and execution within the UAE or GCC region. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various fire safety systems and a strong ability to coordinate with Civil Defense authorities and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Projects Engineer, you will lead the implementation of fire protection projects, ensuring they meet regulatory and client standards. Your duties include managing sprinkler systems, fire pumps, foam systems, FM200, addressable fire alarms, and voice evacuation systems. You will collaborate closely with consultants, Civil Defense, and other stakeholders to guarantee project success. Additionally, you will utilize project planning tools and oversee AutoCAD drawings, with BIM coordination experience considered a plus.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire protection projects within the UAE or GCC
• Strong technical knowledge of sprinkler systems, fire pumps, foam systems, FM200, addressable fire alarms, and voice evacuation
• Proven track record of successfully liaising with Civil Defense and project consultants
• Familiarity with project planning tools, AutoCAD, and preferably BIM coordination
• Excellent leadership, communication, and multitasking skills
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory
• Civil Defense approval is an advantage
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is preferred
