These roles are full-time, based on-site at the project location, with an initial 6-month contract subject to renewal depending on project demands. You will play a key role in managing BIM coordination efforts for a major infrastructure project, ensuring delivering precise, coordinated digital models and documentation across all electromechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

As a BIM Coordinator (MEP), you will lead BIM coordination activities involving mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines. Your responsibilities will include developing and enforcing BIM Execution Plans (BEP), maintaining modeling standards, and managing clash detection workflows primarily using Navisworks. Collaborating closely with architectural and structural teams, you’ll resolve coordination issues and support the construction team by providing accurate technical drawings, RFIs, and as-built model updates. Additionally, you will manage quality assurance processes and oversee CDE workflows using platforms such as Aconex to ensure smooth delivery of digital models and documentation.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will bring 8 to 10 years of experience in BIM coordination or MEP modeling on large-scale infrastructure or commercial projects. A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field is required, along with advanced proficiency in Revit and Navisworks Manage. Familiarity with AutoCAD and Autodesk Construction Cloud (Docs and Collaborate Pro) is essential. Candidates should have a strong technical understanding of MEP systems and installation methods, proven BIM team leadership skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders. This position requires full-time availability on-site in Riyadh.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to professionals holding Certified BIM Professional (CBP) credentials or similar certifications. Experience working on major infrastructure projects within the Middle East region and knowledge of Saudi building codes and construction standards will be beneficial. Familiarity with additional Common Data Environment platforms, such as Trimble Connect or Autodesk ACC, is a plus.
