This full-time role requires expertise in accounting practices, financial reporting, and UAE-specific accounting standards. Candidates with experience using Zoho Books and a solid background in UAE accounting are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for efficiently managing accounts payable and receivable, performing account reconciliations, handling VAT compliance, preparing invoices, and processing payments. The role demands accurate financial record maintenance and timely reporting to ensure smooth financial operations within the company.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Experience in managing accounts payable and receivable processes
• Proficiency in account reconciliations and VAT handling
• Familiarity with invoicing and payment procedures
• Strong analytical skills coupled with effective problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrated capability to manage accounting tasks independently and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and coordination skills for seamless collaboration
• Proficiency in accounting software, especially Zoho Books, and advanced MS Excel skills
• Prior UAE accounting experience is advantageous
