Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join a prominent paper manufacturing company located in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi. This role requires hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial or paper mill setting. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of essential machinery and equipment that drive production.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will handle routine and preventative maintenance tasks, repair mechanical components, and ensure optimal functioning of various paper production machinery. Responsibilities include working with rolls, gearboxes, pumps, pulpers, agitators, blowers, and valves. In addition, expertise in managing winding and conveyor systems is essential, as is the capability to safely operate lifting equipment.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance within a paper mill or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of paper production machinery and its various sections
• Proficiency in repairing key mechanical parts such as rolls and gearboxes
• Experience working with pumps, pulpers, agitators, blowers, and valves
• Skilled in handling winding and conveyor systems
• Ability to operate lifting equipment safely and efficiently
