Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Accountant with at least 5 years of experience specializing in the construction and contracting sector. This role requires strong expertise in project costing, billing, and financial reporting to effectively support construction projects based in Shwaikh, Kuwait.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project cost control including monitoring billings, retention, and subcontractor payments
• Prepare monthly financial statements and cash flow reports to ensure transparent and timely financial tracking
• Collaborate closely with project managers and site teams for accurate financial data and project progress updates
• Oversee WIP (Work In Progress) reports and Bill of Quantities (BOQs) to track project budgets and expenditures

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) certification is mandatory
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience within construction or contracting companies
• Strong capabilities in project costing, progress billing, retention handling, and preparing WIP reports and BOQs
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel functions
• Bilingual in Arabic and English with excellent communication skills
• Possession of a valid driver’s license
• Ready to join immediately with an 18 Ahli visa

Work Environment

This position is based in Shwaikh, Kuwait, supporting dynamic construction projects within the region. The role requires close interaction with multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and efficient project execution.
