Al Geemi Contracting Co. is seeking a skilled Materials Engineer to join their team in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi. This role focuses on quality control and technical evaluation of materials used in construction projects, especially within roads and infrastructure sectors. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in ensuring the suitability and compliance of materials throughout project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

The Materials Engineer is responsible for conducting thorough quality control by developing, modifying, testing, and evaluating construction materials. Additional duties include providing technical guidance on material suitability according to project demands, performing preliminary site investigations, and preparing detailed study reports. The engineer will also manage and submit material submittal schedules based on project timelines and client requirements.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven background in materials quality control within construction environments.
• Experience working on roads and infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
• Ability to analyze and adapt material specifications to meet project standards.
• Strong technical advisory skills for material suitability assessment.
• Competence in preparing comprehensive reports and submittal schedules.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
