Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Material Engineer / Coordinator to join our team in Qatar. This role involves overseeing material procurement processes, ensuring proper inspection, and maintaining accurate tracking of all materials used in projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering or materials management and some experience in related industries.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will handle coordination of material procurement, receiving, inspection, and storage activities. They will prepare and maintain detailed material tracking reports and registers, verify materials against purchase orders, specifications, and approved submittals. This role also requires close collaboration with procurement, warehouse, QA/QC teams, and project managers to monitor material availability and delivery schedules. Proper documentation and traceability of materials throughout the project lifecycle are critical duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Management, or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of practical experience in material coordination or management.
• Familiarity with material tracking, documentation, and inventory control systems.
• Experience in industries like Oil & Gas, construction, or industrial projects is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively with multiple departments.
