Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Detection Engineering Consultant to join our team on a short-term contract in Qatar. This is a high-priority role requiring professionals with at least 6 years of experience in detection engineering. Candidates able to join immediately will be given preference for this 6-month contract position.

Key Responsibilities

The Detection Engineering Consultant will play a critical role in enhancing and implementing detection solutions. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and refining detection rules and methodologies to identify cyber threats effectively. The consultant will collaborate with security teams to optimize detection capabilities and support incident response efforts.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in detection engineering or a related cybersecurity field
• Strong knowledge of threat detection frameworks, security monitoring, and incident response
• Proficient in creating and tuning detection rules across various security platforms
• Ability to analyze complex data and develop innovative detection strategies
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with technical teams

Contract Details

This is a 6-month contract position based in Qatar. Immediate availability is highly desirable to meet urgent project timelines.
