Elegancia Steel is actively seeking a skilled Welding Supervisor to join their Structural Steel Fabrication team in Qatar. This role is perfect for professionals with a strong background in welding supervision within the structural steel industry, particularly those with experience in the GCC region. The successful candidate will oversee welding operations ensuring quality, safety, and productivity standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

The Welding Supervisor will be responsible for managing welding activities on-site, coordinating with quality control and non-destructive testing (NDT) teams, and ensuring all welding work complies with established codes and client specifications. Monitoring productivity, interpreting fabrication drawings, and guiding the welding team on best practices are central to this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI certification in Welding Technology or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8 to 12 years of experience in structural steel fabrication welding.
• 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in the GCC region.
• Thorough knowledge of welding processes including SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and SAW.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and welding symbols accurately.
• Solid understanding of AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX, and other relevant welding codes.
• Proven experience in welding quality control, coordinating NDT, and managing welding productivity.
