We are seeking a skilled Environmental Officer to join a prominent construction project in Qatar. The ideal candidate will bring over five years of experience in environmental management within construction settings, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting sustainable practices on site.

Key Responsibilities

The Environmental Officer will be responsible for monitoring environmental performance, managing waste, and implementing effective environmental controls across construction sites. This role requires preparing detailed reports, maintaining documentation, and ensuring all activities meet regulatory standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience working as an Environmental Officer or in a related role, preferably within the construction industry.
• Solid understanding of environmental monitoring techniques and compliance procedures.
• Expertise in waste management and maintaining environmental controls on active construction sites.
• Proficient in preparing reports and managing documentation according to regulatory requirements.
• Strong knowledge of construction-site environmental practices and standards.

Qualifications

Applicants should hold a diploma in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering. Additional certifications or training relevant to environmental management in construction would be advantageous.
