Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Draftsman for a contract position based in Lusail, Qatar. This role involves preparing and modifying detailed mechanical drawings, supporting site teams and engineers, and ensuring all project documentation meets high standards of accuracy and compliance. The position is open to candidates of any nationality and lasts between three to six months.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating shop, fabrication, layout, and as-built mechanical drawings. You will interpret engineering specifications and drawings, collaborate closely with engineers and site staff to address any project requirements, and revise drawings according to site or client feedback.

Required Skills and Experience

• Diploma or ITI qualification in Mechanical Drafting or Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant drafting experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, with experience in 3D drafting software considered a plus.
• Prior exposure to the oil and gas, construction, or fabrication sectors is highly desirable.
• Strong coordination and communication skills to effectively work with site teams and project stakeholders.
