Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Internal Auditor with a strong background in evaluating risk management, internal controls, and governance processes. This role, based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, offers a great opportunity for an experienced professional to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards while driving operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will take charge of planning, executing, and reporting on internal audit assignments according to approved schedules. Core duties include assessing the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management systems, reviewing financial and operational workflows for compliance, conducting risk assessments, and recommending improvements to mitigate potential risks. Preparing clear and detailed audit reports, following up on corrective actions, assisting with fraud investigations, and contributing to policy development are also essential parts of the position.

Required Skills and Competencies

• In-depth knowledge of auditing standards, risk management practices, and internal control frameworks.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities combined with strong report writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP software applications.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
• High ethical standards, integrity, and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Strong organizational skills and critical thinking capabilities to make sound judgments.

Requirements

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in internal auditing is required, along with familiarity with audit methodologies and frameworks. Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, or SOCPA are preferred, but not mandatory. The ability to work independently and meet deadlines is essential for this role.
