Job Overview

Alpha Fire Services is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with specialized experience in Fire Alarm Systems to join their team in Qatar. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of handling installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of advanced fire alarm systems in compliance with local regulations and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of fire alarm system projects, including:

• Installing and configuring both addressable and conventional fire alarm systems
• Conducting thorough testing and commissioning to ensure full functionality and compliance
• Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting to maintain system reliability
• Coordinating with clients and contractors to meet project specifications and deadlines
• Adhering to Qatar Civil Defence Department (QCDD) regulations and NFPA standards

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience with fire alarm systems
• Valid UPDA and QCDD certification
• Hands-on expertise with major fire alarm system brands
• Familiarity with both addressable and conventional fire alarm technologies
• Understanding of QCDD requirements and NFPA standards
• Preferably holds a Qatar driving license
• Applicants with transferable visas or NOC are highly preferred
• Readiness to join immediately or on short notice
