Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Chief Accountant from the Philippines to join a reputable organization in Qatar. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in senior accounting or supervisory positions who are ready to take on new challenges in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Chief Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, overseeing accounting operations, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements. The role requires expertise in computerized accounting systems, preferably Peach Tree, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. The successful candidate will work closely with management to maintain financial integrity and compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Male candidates aged 27 years or older
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• 5 to 7 years of experience in senior or supervisory accounting roles
• Professional qualification such as Modified CIMA or CPA preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computerized accounting systems (Peach Tree is a plus)
• Prior experience in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region is advantageous
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between QAR 4,000 to QAR 8,000, depending on experience. Accommodation is also provided as part of the employment package.
