Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) Officer to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role involves ensuring that fresh fruits and vegetables meet the highest quality and safety standards, satisfying both company policies and customer expectations within the fresh produce sector.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting incoming stock of fruits and vegetables to verify quality compliance. Monitoring storage conditions and ensuring hygiene protocols are followed is critical. The role also includes coordinating closely with procurement and warehouse teams to maintain quality standards. Preparing detailed quality reports, maintaining documentation, and managing any customer complaints related to product quality are essential tasks. Additionally, this position involves providing quality control training to staff when necessary and conducting annual audits, including ISO renewal processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Agriculture, or a related discipline is required. Candidates must have at least two years of hands-on experience in quality control within the fresh fruits and vegetables industry. A solid understanding of food safety standards, including HACCP, is essential, as well as strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in the Saudi Arabian market is highly desirable. Immediate availability to join the team will be considered an advantage.
