Ultimate HR Solutions is seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to join their team in Dubai, UAE. This role involves providing both onsite and remote technical assistance to corporate users across multiple Emarat corporate and branch offices. The position is outsourced with a monthly salary of AED 8,500 and requires a strong commitment to troubleshooting, user support, and maintenance of IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for delivering comprehensive support for Windows operating systems, hardware, and software issues. This includes diagnosing and resolving problems with desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and various applications. Core duties also involve installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows-based systems and supporting Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

The role requires managing user accounts including password resets, access management, and permissions through Active Directory and related tools. Networking troubleshooting tasks will cover VPN, Wi-Fi connectivity, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP protocols. Efficient incident and service request handling via ITSM or ticketing systems is essential, along with documenting all troubleshooting processes and solutions.

Collaboration with IT security teams is vital to uphold organizational security and compliance standards. Adhering to ITIL best practices for incident, change, and problem management will be expected, alongside providing timely updates to the Network & Support Manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. A minimum of three years’ experience providing IT support in a corporate environment is necessary. Proficiency in Windows 10/11 administration and troubleshooting is required, along with hands-on experience managing Active Directory, Group Policy, and user accounts.

Strong hardware troubleshooting abilities and foundational networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi, are important for success in this role. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and administration is also essential. Experience using ITSM or ticketing systems will ensure effective incident tracking and resolution.

The position requires flexibility to work in shifts and provide on-call support when needed. Candidates must possess a valid UAE driving license.

Preferred Certifications

Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certifications, Microsoft 365 certifications, CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL 4 Foundation would be an advantage, reflecting additional expertise and commitment to IT best practices.
