Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer with over 10 years of consultancy experience to join our team in Qatar. This role requires expertise in civil and structural engineering with a particular focus on drainage projects under the Public Works Authority (PWA). The ideal candidate must hold a valid MME license and demonstrate proficiency in advanced design and analysis software.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design process for various engineering projects, especially PWA drainage systems.
• Prepare detailed structural calculations and design drawings adhering to relevant codes and standards.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and project managers.
• Utilize software tools like STAAD, ETABS, SAP2000, and AutoCAD to perform structural analysis and design.
• Ensure designs meet safety, durability, and compliance criteria.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years’ proven experience in structural consultancy.
• Possession of a valid Mechanical and Materials Engineering (MME) license.
• Strong experience working on PWA drainage projects.
• Proficiency with industry-standard software including STAAD, ETABS, SAP2000, and AutoCAD.
• Currently residing in Qatar with transferable visa and No Objection Certificate (NOC).
