Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Mobile Crane Operator with Qatar Energy approval to join our team in Dukhan, Qatar. This role requires operating mobile cranes safely and efficiently, adhering to lifting plans and stringent safety standards in an Oil & Gas environment. Candidates with prior experience in Qatar Energy projects will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily crane inspections, coordinating with riggers and supervisors, ensuring proper crane setup, and managing load movements safely. Maintaining crane logbooks, reporting any defects, and following all HSE and site-specific safety procedures are critical aspects of the role.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Valid Qatar Energy-approved certification for mobile crane operators is mandatory.
- Relevant competency certificates to operate mobile cranes.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Strong understanding of lifting procedures, crane load charts, and safety regulations.
- Experience working on Qatar Energy or similar Oil & Gas sites is an advantage.
