Job Overview

BELGRAVIA Contracting Company (BCC) is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer / Electrical Engineer to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years working in the UAE. This role involves supervising and managing all electrical works at construction sites, ensuring high standards and timely completion according to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical installation activities on-site, reviewing electrical drawings and specifications, and coordinating with consultants, contractors, and other MEP disciplines. Additional duties include monitoring site progress, performing inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards, and managing testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems. The engineer will also prepare detailed reports, handle technical challenges, and ensure adherence to project health, safety, and environmental guidelines as well as local regulations.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (B.E / B. Tech).
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in the UAE construction industry.
• Proven ability to manage electrical works on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills to collaborate across multiple disciplines.
• Familiarity with quality control processes and safety regulations in electrical projects.
• Ability to create comprehensive site reports and technical documentation.

Work Environment

This role is site-based in Qatar, requiring the engineer to be actively involved in the management and supervision of ongoing electrical construction activities. Coordination with various teams will be essential to ensure all project milestones related to electrical works are met within schedule and budget.
