Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join a leading industrial plant project in Qatar. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in heavy industrial electrical systems, particularly within the oil & gas, petrochemical, or power plant sectors. Immediate availability is preferred to support urgent project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electrical systems used in heavy industry. This includes working on motors up to 500 HP, high and low voltage systems, transformers up to 33 KV, as well as cable splicing, UPS and inverter systems, and equipment such as cranes and cathodic protection systems.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in motor repairs with motors up to 500 HP
• Experience handling HV/LV electrical systems and transformers up to 33 KV
• Strong ability in cable splicing and working with UPS/inverter systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Good command of English for effective communication on-site

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must hold a Diploma or Trade Certificate such as ITI, ND, or HND. A minimum of five years’ experience in aluminum smelters, petrochemical plants, oil & gas facilities, or power plants is required.
