Mathews Metal is seeking a skilled Procurement Officer to join our team based in Dubai. This role is tailored for professionals with relevant experience specifically in the aluminium and building facade industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procuring facade-related materials and a proven ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procuring aluminium profiles, accessories, hardware, glass, fasteners, and various facade materials. You will coordinate closely with suppliers as well as internal teams including project management, estimation, and production departments to ensure materials are delivered on time and meet project specifications. Negotiating competitive prices and managing purchase orders accurately are also critical aspects of this position.

Required Skills and Experience

Experience in the facade industry is mandatory; candidates from unrelated sectors will not be considered. A thorough understanding of facade materials, supplier networks, and market pricing is essential. Strong negotiation skills and supplier sourcing capabilities are required to maintain cost-effective procurement practices. Familiarity with UAE market conditions and business culture is preferred. The role also demands excellent follow-up skills to guarantee timely delivery and smooth workflow.

Additional Requirements

Applicants must have relevant experience working on facade procurement projects. Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be prioritized. Excellent communication and coordination skills within multidisciplinary teams will help in achieving seamless procurement processes.
